Can you explain why the Santa Clara series is scheduled with 2 year home and home cycle vs the one year cycle with everyone else?

has to do with the odd number of conference games. They played here two in a row, too.

So do they rotate conference teams for the 2 year cycle? Seems like its

Part of the reason they did it is that 2 of the top teams (UP, SCU, USD) were traveling to the third location, so they wanted to change that up.

it is irrelevant from here on out. With 9 teams in the conference, there will be 8 games, so the whole system will change
