But does anyone really believe that UNC or UND would be given a #2 seed even if the RPI says that they should? It looks to me an awful lot like good ol' UP on the outside looking in ... again. Unless someone else loses again.

I know this is off an off soccer topic... But.....

Heck, if there is going to be pulled pork sandwiches, lets please do the same quality as years past. I little Lunchable mini meal kids sandwich with a 16th oz portion of meat on a squishy kiddie bun is not up to Trenchcoats food intake standards. Those pulled pork burgers with sauce choices from a few years ago were epic! Trenchcoat-

OK- Way off topic- I thought I was on the other board topic.... It's Monday and Trenchcoat is still in Weekend Pilot soccer bliss.....

Right now the WCC owns an 8-7-3 lead over the PAC10 in interconference games.

Three games remain, all today.

USF-Arizona
Santa Clara -Stanford
UP-UW

It will be interesting to see the final outcome for bragging rights.

BTW - did you know the only linkage between the WCC and the ACC this year is a game between Maryland and Gonzaga?

(UM won 2:0)

USF and Santa Clara lost, UP won, so there are no bragging rights to be had this year.

'The Pac10 and WCC are even for the year - at least until the tournament.

Maryland beat Boston College 2-1 with a header at 89:52. Boston scored first, 60th, then Maryland equalized in the 75th.

The rest of today's ACC scores:

Wake over NC state 2-1
Miami over Duke 2-0 -- two scores in the last two minutes of the game.
FSU over Clemson 3-0

the BC loss dropped Stanford below UP in the unadjusted RPI. not by much, but it's still nice o see Smile

Idaho State and N. Arizona played in Idaho (pocatello?) until dark when the game was called. Since they just made it past 70 minutes, it's official at 0-0

I'm glad we don't have that worry anymore.

You know what time the sun sets. Why would you not schedule kickoff accordingly?

They were trying to start as late as possible to get more fans in, according to their coach in the postgame radio broadcast (their coach does postgame interviews --hint, hint)

Cloudy day made it darker than normal, and there was a 30 minute lightning delay (oh My!) They last had a game called for the same reasons in 1998.

the game was called at 72:31 when the ref announced he couldn't see any more. Clearly not our ref from last weekend. Rolling Eyes

I remember we used to cut it pretty close sometimes. They are looking for a donor for the lights. It's a naming grant opportunity...
