Report from Cal

Post by A_Fan on Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:16 pm

I am typing this on my phone, not my forte. 50 minutes before game time 6 fans in the stands 3 for each school. The sun is out pretty warm.

Now we out number them 35-12. The field is kind of rough, quite worn in spots.

Was this a repeat of the Rutgers Match?
From Cal Twitter: "Goalie kick deflected off of Battung, Omarsdottir collects, passes to attacking Battung and she shoots to upper 90 for her 3rd goal of 2010 "

Cal fans now out number us. Cal was very fast and physical for the first 25 minutes or so. They are wearing down though. The Pilots were beating them to most balls by the end. The goal was definitely an error on the defense.

Its okay with me if they hold on for a 2-1 win. Better if we pour it on.

Go Pilots!

The game description and box score are on the official site.

The box shows Kendall Johnson played. I'm pretty sure that's a CAL statistician's error.

also, in a huge win, BC beat UNC, putting them in second place in the RPI.
UNC drops to #7

I like the strategy of bringing Cloee forward every once and a while. Great game for Kreminski as well.

Kreminski has 3 goals in 4 games. Two were game winners. Sounds like a super-sub to me.

They have done them for several games. They are added to the game reports for several recent games. Go to the shedule and click on the score. there will be a youtube video embedded.

They do video highlights for most (all?) home games, but not away games unless the host school puts a package together.

You can do what Geezer said, and you can also seem them all (plus all the other athletics videos) here:
