The 2004 award, which is given to the national champion, was taken back today.

The committee declined to award it to another school. Oklahoma, Auburn, and Utah were all undefeated( except for OK's loss to USC)

The bleacher report , written by an OK grad, and which publishes a Oklahoma fan site, is declaring them the 2004 champs, but it's wishful thinking.

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. He usually had in his mouth a short dudeen; but in an evil moment he put the dudeen, lighted, in the pocket among the powder. Mr. Lowry was an eccentric man.
