Pilot men in the news

Post by PurpleGeezer on Thu Aug 19, 2010 1:36 pm

The Trib is apparently still reporting sports.

They have a nice preseason roundup on the new team.

You've got to love the quote about taking team chemistry to an all time high. Let's hope that happens.

They play OSU at Merlo this week In an exhibition game ( Wed. the 25th) . It should be a great game to get an idea of what the team will be like. I think we may be back to the Men's teams of old.

Great time to be a Pilot fan.

You're going to see a bunch of Timbers U-23s going against each other. Should be a fun night out.

A Timbers fan mentioned Ricardo Carrillo and Steven Evans won a U18 national championship with Eastside United, then the PDL championship 13 days later.

Could they win a treble?

It would be nice to see the men's teams continue to rise in the rankings and have success in the next few years. So many people forget that Merlo was built after the men's team reached the Final 4, because the women's teams have enjoyed more success on the field.
