Hoorah for Steph! In my book, you could make a case for her being named player of the week on a national team(s) for all seven games she's played so far this season. (All wins, by the way, at the most crucial time of the season, at a time when we needed a lift. A big lift. She was
the catalyst, though Sophie and Angie helped provide that lift. Those three raised the level of play for the entire team, which has enabled us to finish the regular and conference seasons with an air of confidence and flair not seen since 2005's monster championship season.)
