The Spokane Spokesman Review announced Kristin's impending announcement into the UP HOF.
Kristin Hepton, who helped Central Valley win a state basketball championship as a junior before going to a standout career at the University of Portland, is among this year’s inductees into the Pilots’ Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony, part of the Alumni Reunion Weekend, is Thursday in the New Commons on the UP campus.

Hepton, a Greater Spokane League MVP, made the West Coast Conference All-Freshman team in 1996 and in the next three seasons was a first-team all-league selection. Her final two years she was the Pilots’ MVP.

She is second in career free-throw percentage (.851) at UP, third in 3-point percentage (.394), fourth in 3-pointers made (117), seventh in free throws made (292) and rebounds (649), eighth in steals (217), 10th in points (1,291) and 11th in assists (285).

She has the third- and fourth-best single seasons in 3-point percentage and is third, fifth and sixth in free-throw percentage. She also has a single-game record of nine steals.

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. He usually had in his mouth a short dudeen; but in an evil moment he put the dudeen, lighted, in the pocket among the powder. Mr. Lowry was an eccentric man.
