Well, they did get a bunch of good coaches nice extensions and pay-raises in the process, and in the current economy, such generosity should really be noted... Maybe they can use that as an organizational tax write off and try and off set that athletic department deficit....

But yeah, Altman is walking into a hornets nest of expectation right now, and based on what the Ducks put on the floor last year it's going to take years to get them up where the boosters think they should be. It will be interesting of they will be willing to wait the time it takes for that to happen... (And one must wonder whether Altman has the recruiting connections to really take on the west coast, which is pretty crucial to success obviously)
