Baseball Deserves Some Love...

I know that most of us as UP fans follow soccer and basketball the most, but the Pilot baseball team deserves a nice plug after sweeping Santa Clara last weekend on the road. Portland has won eight in a row and are about 18-6 right now. They play at OSU on Tuesday and are back at Joe Etzel Field next week. What a story it would be if they can keep it up. I know Coach Sperry was taking a lot of heat a few years when the Pilots were doing terrible (and rightly so), but the last couple of seasons has been promising. Nice to see another program on the rise.
