More GU love
The Zaggettes punched their ticket to the sweet 16 by beating Texas Tech 72-71 in Seattle. The refs were our WCC refs.
I remember in '96 when we had to go to Lubbock to play TT. We weren't so lucky. we got their refs.
congrats to them.

And by Texas Tech I assume you mean A&M... (for the Zags, not us...)

Re: More GU love
I still don't get the whole Zag/Zaggette phenomenon. I mean, they're the bulldogs, right? Or is it because everyone associates the bulldogs with Georgetown? I wonder how St. Aloysious Gonzaga would feel about having his name taken apart for the sake of sports... I guess the Zags sounds better to people in Spokane Vegas than the Gons.
Hopefully our own women's team starts to bounce back into prominence in the coming years...
