Christine's Winter Olympics Empty Christine's Winter Olympics

Post by GUPhantom Sat Feb 27, 2010 2:58 pm

Just thinking outside the box (of soccer) here for a little bit. In watching some Vancouver Winter Olympic events and especially since its occurring in Christine's own backyard...I was wondering what she would do when it comes time to retire from futbol. Yes, that's still far off in the future...but with her "gifted athleticism"...I could see her thriving in Speed Skating (long track), Hockey or even skiing the Downhill, Giant Slalom or Slalom. If she doesn't have an opportunity to cap her wonderful career with a WC Trophy or Olympic Medal in Soccer...why not?

It's time for some Spring Soccer action....

GO PILOTS!!!

I don't know if those are necessarily sports you can just "pick up" as all mentioned pretty darn specialized that take years to master.... (well that and rumor is women's hockey is going to get the axe)

Now bobsledding, that's a real possibility, I don't remember which athlete, but one of the US or Canadian sledders was a former WUSA player back in the day. Sinclair's strength could land her in a sled if she so chose...

Well the US Men had Hershel Walker one year for Bobsled. Wanted his speed an power on the start. so something like that is obviously doable.

Luge.

I might take it up. You are supposed to lie down and relax.
And I have that aerodynamic bulge in the middle when I'm laying down.

right up my alley.

I guess instead of a six pack there, you have a keg.

6-packs and Kegs? Curling...Curling is the right sport....with right pace for those of us who have aerodynamic bulges! Cheers!
