Heath Pearce delivers assist...

Heath delivered a fantastic run up the left side and a nice cross for Brian Ching to head home to bring the game level yesterday... Great to see him making the most of an opportunity to look good in the run up before Bob Bradley's final WC roster decisions (haha hopefully we'll have another name to add onto those plaques at Merlo that haven't been updated in ages....)

But we don't have a real good record of recognizing players who leave the program early.

Cherundolo was on the last plaque, as was Casey.

But the last list of Olympians and WC players were woefully incomplete.

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. He usually had in his mouth a short dudeen; but in an evil moment he put the dudeen, lighted, in the pocket among the powder. Mr. Lowry was an eccentric man.

To be fair it's been a while since any of those plaques have been updated. At the Timbers game I didn't even see any of them on the fence.
