Thomas Iwasaki signed to play for the University of Portland. Iwasaki was a first-team all-state selection this year and is a 4.0 student at Lake Oswego.

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. TopDrawer has Steven Evans comming to the bluff from Central Catholic and Eastside United. Evans was the MHC player of the year.

But while the Academy players may get all the hype, there are still a bevy of tantalizing prospects on non-Academy teams in the Pacific Northwest.
At the top of this group of players is Steven Evans of Eastside United. Evans can play as an attacking central midfielder or as a forward. He has superb field vision, distributes the ball well, and scores goals with a clean and powerful strike on the ball. He will make an instant impact next year at the University of Portland.
