Well, their giving out Chalupas for 80 points this year at the Rose Garden, so I guess this qualified.
The Pilots beat LMU 94-91 on 19 points from Gannis, 18 from Day, and 17 from Dollente.
Gannis also got 11 rebounds, so it sounds like she had a monster game.
UP shot 62% from the field and 43% from the arc.
It doesn't sound like either team played much defense, but it's still a good win on the road.

Hopefully this will be a step towards Gannis having these types of games regularly. She has oodles of ability, maybe this will be her breakout game.

If the posts on Pilot Nation were read by any of the coaches and/or players this week and it led to the kind of a game described on Pilots. com, then it was worth it to jack them up a little.
Hopefully increased intensity will result in better coaching from the bench andfrom the players.
