Re: Idaho, again
Was Stohl aware of how close he was to breaking the record?
"I was trying not to think about it," Sthol said. "But when you've got T.J. Campbell saying, 'I'm going to get you one more for the record,' it's hard not to think it."
and from Rev
"Tonight, we knew we had to start with great effort. I was really emphasizing playing hard, defend, and do what you do. And maybe Jared heard that do-what-you-do message and thought, 'I'm a shooter.' That's what he does at a special level, so he needs to be able to do that."

Geez, did you highlight Idaho's FT shooting to show how well we defended from the stripe?
Great bounceback performance. Obviously Stohl had a great game...but it sounds like it was a true team performance.

We mixed up man and zone. We were awsome defensively at the charity stripe

It was fun to see Jared reject a pass into one of their bug guys (23 I think). I did not see how he ended up guarding him (switch or zone) but showed great hustle to get around hm enough to get his hand on the ball.
I also thought Luke had a really good game. He blocked a lay up and either blocked or altered several other shots along with his normal good rebound/assist/defense effort.

Since it was Christmas break, there was a good crowd of kids from the local grade schools sitting behind the hoops. A couple of those kids were pretty into making some loud, high pitch noise during Idaho free throws.

Never underestimate the high-pitchedness of a prepubescent boy's voice.
