Idaho, again
This time we get them at home. Would be nice to see a quick rebound after the drubbing in Seattle.

Agreed. I think tonight's game will be telling in the character of the team. Look for the seniors to step up and make it happen.
Some revenge would be awfully nice...

Yes, it would also be nice to hit some free throws in the first half of the game...and play some tight perimeter defense. Time for our senior-laden team to begin to show more consistency...

Re: Idaho, again
Overall It was a good game. It got a little dicey to begin the 2nd half. But Rev called timeout and ripped his seniors (and everyone else) and lit a fire under everyone. After that we played really well.

I thought overall attendance was good. Obviously no students, but there was a decent amount of everyone else.

Ha ha
Rev's face was as red as Rudolph's nose at the start of that time out. He did calm down and just told them to play hard after that. By the end of the timeout, he was pretty calm.

That's more like it. At least on the court. I have some issues with game management, but will be taking that up with Trish.

Re: Idaho, again
Did they set more picks and screens for Jared than in the UW game...or did Idaho just leave him open?

Idaho left him open more than once. Like WAAAAAAAAAAAY open. They tried guarding him closely, too...didn't really work.

He did run across the baseline some and that freed him a couple times, but it was mostly getting the ball inside and than kicking it out that seemed to work. I think Luke got 6 or 7 assists doing that.
Coach Sobatka said that's just what they would try to do during the pregame talk.

Re: Idaho, again
Jared was strong on the defensive end, too... a great game overall. 6 boards, 30 points, solid D... Excellent.
Great to see the guys come out and dominate, like we know they can...
