From the UP Release:

Game No. 7 Post-game Quotes - Portland vs. Minnesota

Portland

Coach Eric Reveno -
ďMy comments are pretty similar to last night. Iím so proud of these guys. We worked hard to get here and it kind of chokes me up. Thereís been so much blood, sweat and tears with this team. There discipline, commitment and trust in our staff and selves is great to see. You canít really do anything in your practice plan to simulate the last couple of nights. Iím most proud of how good we were offensively. I try to appreciate to them how our offense is solid, but we need to improve on our defense. Tonight we guarded and disrupted them and that shows the improvement of our defense.Ē

I love the emotion... cheers

ESPN's Highlights

I don't know why they posted Highlights for all the first-round games except ours but they've got highlights for tonight's game Smile

Who knew you could turn the ball over 19 times and knock off a ranked team?? Gotta love that 81% from the line... that reminds me of something....

Congrats Pilots! Nice win! You had me a bit nervous in the last 2 mins, but great job pulling out the win. So if Minn>Butler and the Pilots>Minn, does that mean you guys should be the # 9 team in the country? Wink WCC teams are going to take a major beating on the NW swing this season.

From Goodman Link
From Last Night:
FOXSPORTS.COM STUD OF THE DAY: This is a tough call with no shortage of candidates. I'm going with co-winners - Marquette senior Lazar Hayward, who had 27 points and nine boards in an upset over Michigan; and Portland's T.J. Campbell, who had 23 points and was 4-of-8 from long distance in an upset over Minnesota.
From Thursday:
DUD: UCLA - The Bruins have now lost to Cal State Fullerton and Portland thus far in the early season. Sure, the Bruins are young and didn't have much time to practice together due to a lengthy injury report in the preseason. However, getting crushed to Portland, 74-47, in downright embarrassing for a program that went to three straight Final Fours not too long ago.

MID-MAJOR STAR: We're giving it to two of the top shooters in the nation - Portland's Jared Stohl and T.J. Campbell. We had both in our preseason list of Top 50 shooters and they combined to go 8-of-10 in the rout over UCLA - with Stohl making all five of his attempts from beyond the arc.

How does TJ think he is going to keep up with Jared if he is only shooting 60%

TJ knew that Jared would re-enter the stratosphere and go 2-8 the next night, while TJ went 4-8.

Two-day totals:
Jared: 7-13, 53.8%
TJ: 7-13, 53.8%
