Zags/Mich St

Post by cjacks14 on Tue Nov 17, 2009 5:22 pm

Interesting start to this game. I expected the Zags to be dominated but Sacre is holding it down inside.

And Steven Gray kinda looks like Samuel L Jackson from Pulp Fiction. Check it out lol.

MSU is ranked #2. Looks like the Zags are not overmatched. Guess they are not going the way of USC football quite yet. Sad

Perhaps Matt Bouldin is thinking of future career moves already...
Was it just me, or did his disappearing act the last 3 minutes just reek of GOB Bluth??

MSU's defense was VERY focused on Bouldin. They collapsed hard on him every time he tried to drive. I was quite impressed by Harris down low for Gonzaga. Dude is an athlete. It looked like to me that one could get both Sacre and Harris into foul trouble - they love to do the half-hook with their shoulder/elbow on the spin, or give you a good shoulder to the chest to create enough room to get their shot off. Overall, I was pretty dang impressed with the zags. Maybe not very deep and the guards, but I'm not sure you need to be with Bouldin and Gray.
