Any win is a good win. Especially on the road.

I like the fact that we kept them to only 32% from the floor. They shot more free throws (and made more) and we turned the ball over more than we should but we were ahead in all the other stat categories.

From the stats (i couldnt get the internet feed) it looked like a good start to the season. Good FG%, good 3pt% and we out-rebounded them. I'd say its a pretty good start to the season. Opening on the road is tough and they got the job done. Good win by the Pilots!

EWU just put a scare on the Cougs @ Pullman... WSU 67, EWU 61. EWU with a big comeback in the final 5 minutes to get as close as 2 pts...

MVSU < GU by 18

THEREFORE, we are better than Gonzaga because we had the same margin over EWU as WSU did. And WSU had a 10-point higher margin against MVSU than Gonzaga.

This seems pretty definitive. I mean, let's just call off the WCC schedule and crown the Pilots now, this would really save in travel costs (we, at UP, are eco-friendly) and it would save the other 7 WCC teams from wondering if they could beat us (clearly, they can't).
