Pilots vs. Denver, Friday 11/13/09, Merlo Field

Pilots were seeded #2, and will play Denver University on Friday, November 13th at Merlo Field. (Friday the 13th?! ) The other teams in our pod are Washington and Ole Miss.

Winners play on Sunday. I have a feeling the Pilots may come out with a chip on their shoulders regarding the seeding... this will be interesting to say the least.

looking at denver's won/loss record on their website, we've played three mutual opponents. illinois which denver drew with 1-1 shortly before illinois played us. denver also played oregon an oregon st at the beavers tourney in mid september. lost to oregon 4-1 an oregon st 3-1

Look at their Sun Belt Conference opponents. A bunch of teams in the...ah...Sun Belt, and Denver. About as random as Louisiana Tech being in the WAC.
