CONGRATS LADIES! I am so pumped for playoffs and cannot wait to see who we are matched up against....

If anybody here's anything anything about Michelle's injury, please let this forum know. I am really hoping that it is nothing serious.
This would be a huge loss. I know we have a deep team but a player the caliber of Michelle cannot be replaced.

I am hesitant to speculate on such potentially bad news--I just do not think it could be good that she had to be carried off the field and that she did not come out for the second half, let alone play. It appeared from the way they were carrying her that it was an ankle, at least to me. I suspose it could have been a knee too, but my money is on an ankle, in which event she may be back.

It looked like they were looking at her knee from where I was standing. And as they took her off the field, she tried putting weight on her leg, and it looked like it completely collapsed.

I talked to a player briefly as they came on for the second half, They wee still checking her out.

It was not all positive for Portland though, as a hard collision between Enyeart and Parsons with five seconds left before halftime forced Enyeart to be helped off the field with an injured knee. She did not return in the second half and will await further tests to determine the severity of the injury.

thanks for that pic, it really helps alleiviate the dark cloud that we may be without michelle e for the rest of the year. i waited to post til i came home an watched the 1st half again on my dvr. that being said, i didnt like the way it look live, an watching it on the dvr, i like it even less.
while michelle e is practically irreplacable, i have been a huge fan of halley's since the first time she stepped on the pitch. an knowing how close this team is, an always has been, i am still very hopeful.

I think the worst part of possibly losing Michelle E for the rest of the season is that she wouldn't get to finish her senior year the way she deserves to. She ought to go out in a blaze of glory, on the field as part of the team winning the national championship.

As someone else said here - please post if you hear anything. I feel horrible for Michelle.

Can I ask a favor? I couldn't make it to this game. I'd love it if someone who saved the broadcast of it could post a clip of the two goals. Just checked youtube and nothing there yet.
