TopDrawer has weighed in on the dirty play in the game. he called the worst he's seen. I guess he didn't see the WSU game.

It seems we know this ref. He did the our Gonzaga game. Anybody remember how he did?

Wow, amazing that the camera caught it on such a close shot and all three refs missed it. That's a good reason not to have a pony tail!

This was on Sports Center's top (bottom) 10 this morning.

Due to all the video evidence, I really hope there is a severe punishment for the UNM player (by either the league or the school). And the ref, too.

That is really terrible.

I'll point out that the first cheap shot was from BYU's Carly Paine, who threw an elbow to the solar plexus of the Lobo Player (21 seconds in) which resulted in the punch.

If there's any post-game discipline, it would have to go to both players.

Since BYU is advancing and the lobos are done for the season, I'm guessing that BYU just wants it to go away. A fighting suspension is 3 games.
