Melissa Henderson, Notre Dame - Scored a hat trick in the Fighting Irish’s Big East Tournament quarterfinal win over South Florida
Carlee Payne, BYU - Scored a goal and added 3 assists as the Cougars won twice
Courtney Whidden, UCF - Had a goal and an assist as UCF won its 9th straight match
Brittney Lyman, Colorado College - Scored a school-record 5 goals in a win over UTEP
Kelsey Miller, Dayton - Played 180 minutes in central defense as the Flyers’ recorded a pair of shutout victories
Malorie Rutledge, LSU - Scored a goal and added 3 assists in the Tigers’ win over Arkansa(w)
Sinead Farrelly, Virginia - Scored twice as the Cavaliers picked up a pair of important wins
Dylan Jordan, Mississippi - Scored twice as the Rebels won a pair of SEC contests

Well deserved. Congrats Kelsey. I was hoping she or Tsao would be chosen. Its hard to get in as a defender. Our entire defense deserves kudos. Each one of them made at least one key save in that game. Well done Pilots.

Jessica deserves to be on this team again and again. She was a force against SC, moving up and attacking, never making a mistake, and showing so much stopping power versus Broncos attack.

Agreed. If I had to select one outstanding Pilot from yesterday it would be Jessica. She only got beaten once that I remember, giving up a cross late in the game. And she dominated her opponent so many times throughout the game.

Without Meaning to be Disrespectful

If the award were for volumn of noise created on the field, not just defensive performance, Kelsey would take the award on a frequent, if not permanent basis. They might even name the award after her. Just saying . . .
