Vandal Revival Empty Vandal Revival

Post by Guest Sat Oct 17, 2009 6:24 pm

On the fringes of 1-A football, the U. of Idaho has been one of the poorest performing teams in recent years. Only 3 wins in the last two years, versus 21 losses. Well, today they won over Hawaii for their sixth victory this year, and becoming bowl eligible. Congrats to a good turnaround job in Moscow.

Lots of good college football stories today. Purdue beating Ohio State. VA Tech losing to GA Tech. Texas and Florida staying undefeated, but unimpressive victories.

Dangit! I read this post as I am watching the VaTech/ GaTech game. It is just going to the fourth quarter in my house.

I guess that is the one drawback to watching games on DVR. Although it's still better than ever having to watch a commercial.

Too bad they didn't schedule wazzu this year for bragging rights. Was pretty pissed to see CSU lose up there, but at least it's to a decent Idaho team.

Yeah, and right now Idaho is Washington's second best victory! Laughing

Stanford and AZ going to a last minute, no defense shoot-out. And it is AZ by a nose.

Kentucky (led by Rich Brooks wearing a Snuggie) beating Auburn for their first conference victory of the year.

Colorado, who has been horrible, beating an undefeated Kansas team, giving Mangino a bellyache.

And Coldsmoke, too bad the Rams couldn't call it a game after 1 quarter! Sad

Don't forget about Jimmie Johnson looking to extend his Cup lead in Charlotte.
