Beatdown of the week: We may have to officially change this category to "Portland women beatdown of the week." The Pilots rolled over Gonzaga 7-0 just one week after clobbering Montana by the same score. In other news, the other West Coast Conference teams have filed a petition to have Portland moved out of the conference. We kid.

Are they advocating we leave and go to the Pac-10?? That sounds like an eerily similar argument posed by that school up north...

We didn't help our cause for getting into the PAC10 this year, either.

That said, I'm pretty sure some of our intramural flag football teams could beat the Cougars...

As a resident of Eastern Washington who has family in and around Pullman and as a fan of WSU I should be upset at this statement. However, I can't deny its validity and I'm past the point of even caring about WSU football.
