Portland: 3 teams ranked in the Top 25

UP Women's Soccer team: Ranked as high as #3.
UP Men's Soccer team: Ranked as high as #18.
UP Men's Cross Country: Ranked #8.

Awesome! The Pilots are a very respected team in the West Coast Conference. But, Gonzaga seem to dominate most sports.

Baseball: Gonzaga
Men's Basketball: Gonzaga
Women's Basketball: Gonzaga
Cross Country: PORTLAND
Men's Golf: San Francisco
Women's Golf: Pepperdine
Rowing: Gonzaga
Men's Soccer: San Diego
Women's Soccer: PORTLAND
Men's Tennis: Pepperdine
Women's Tennis: Pepperdine
Volleyball: Saint Mary's

Well, it looks like Women's Soccer and Cross Country are OUR domains. But we are just an arm's length to the top of Men's Basketball. Pepperdine is better than I thought, but like I said Gonzaga pretty much owns this conference.

When I say Gonzaga owns this conference, I meant the big sports. Baseball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball. Outside of those, they fall in the middle of the little sports (save rowing.)

Has Gonzaga ever won the Commissioner's Cup? I don't believe they ever have. Last I checked, the WCC website hadn't update Cup standings in quite some time. Historically, I think it's only the California schools who have had the strongest overall athletic programs.

Well, for a couple days, Men's Basketball, ranked as high as #25.

That's true. When the Pilots beat Oregon, UCLA, and Minnesota they started the season 7-0 and were ranked #25. And PilotNut, I was reading up on the West Coast Conference, and it read that the Pilots Women Soccer ranked #2 in the nation. Sorry if I'm being fussy.

It should be on the far right and you have to click on the button that says Standings. If I'm correct, it says Portland is ranked #2 in the country. Well, that's awesome!!!

Pepperdine and San Diego are the two best baseball teams in the WCC. Gonzaga is really good at basketball.
