Re: Soooo....Blount?
I would go with the Roger Goodell method. Bring in a mentor for Blount. Michael Vick gets a two game (well, more like 34) suspension because he is having Tony Dungy, all-around great guy as his personal mentor.
What Bellotti needs to do is bring back a former player, preferably a running back to mentor Blount and teach him what it means to be a student-athelete who treats himself, his opponents and the game with respect.
My Reccommendation...Onterrio Smith

In watching the replay, I'm pretty sure the BSU guy said to him "you owe us an a$$ woopin'!" That's pretty funny.

Hopefully Oregon can schedule Notre Dame next year, and Blount can punch JClaw in the face.

Onterrio might not be available... he's got a big sales trip coming up for Original Whizzinator Inc. Which really should be your ID on here, MattWizz.

Hahahaha....oh man...sorry to laugh on such a grave topic for you Ducks fans, but, that is just hilarious. It's like when Isaiah Ryder was mentoring Bonzi Wells. The Wizzinator (Smith) mentoring the punching boy. Just beautiful.

Re: Soooo....Blount?
A new wrinkle in this story. Looks like Blount was more honest than people gave him credit for.
I want to say around the 1:39 mark is where things get interesting.

Yeah, I remember seeing that during the actual broadcast....
At that point Blount had pretty much already sealed his fate BUT those fans deserve the same treatment... people act like idiots when they think they can't suffer repercussions...

Why are there chairs that aren't bolted to the concrete in the stands?
Why not just leave brickbats around?

It looks to me like one of those bleacher seat "cushions" but that thing looks a bit rigid... I hope "Mr. Revenge" gets his due punishment.

Re: Soooo....Blount?
I'm not sure what is more offensive on Boise State's end...
Replaying the punch over and over on the scoreboard, verbally (and apparently physically) assaulting an opposing player after the game, or that stupor inducing Smurf turf....

I'm not 100% convinced that was a punch. I want a better camera angle.
