Good job digging that article out and posting it for us, Stonehouse. I have heard USA coach Greg Ryan talking about Woz before, and also have seen other articles discussing her superlative international play.

We have a real gem here, folks. Let's appreciate her final collegiate year this season. I look for Angie to give us a tremendous lift with her skill and leadership heading into the really big games coming up soon.

Yes. Thanks for posting the piece Stonehouse. It's good to see that Angie's not overlooked nationally. She may not be considered the best player with the Pilots (outside of Stephanie and Megan)...but to me...she is definitely the most important player we have!!! She quarterbacks the midfielders and strikers. She has execptional ball handling skills and supplements it with excellent anticipation and field vision....ala Steve Nash in basketball. She's one..if not one of the best pure passers in the game and literally makes her teammates better by giving them the best chances at goal. Her only (fault?) is not shooting more. She can create so much opportunites for herself but is soooo unselfish. She seems to prefer thinking pass first before taking a shot for herself.
