I just got word that Sophie Schmidt will be on the radio program 'Strong at Night' on 95.5 The Game at 6:20pm today previewing Friday's home opener vs. Cal.

She talks about winning TWO before she graduates.

I, too, like the way she thinks! She sounds very confident. That is a great attitude to have entering what everyone is calling a potential special season.

We're ranked #3 in the nation after one game. If we continue with clean sheets, anybody stumbles that is atop us, and we move up! (Geez, I don't mean for you to go change your bed sheets after every match. On second thought...)

Nice move by John Strong to give Pilot soccer some attention. He is someone in the local media who really gets the game of soccer and has done some great work alerady this year.
