It's kind of hard to say right now whether our cometition will be seen as easy.. I notice that looking at the schedules lots of the top four teams from last year are playing each other and Cal, UW, Illinois, TAMU, and SCU. Those top ranked teams can't all win all the games, and all it takes is some key wins to turn what looks alike a season without many top teams into the top of the heap.

Getting back to the subject of Santa Clara - in the past week, they have added two more players to the class of 2011 who are in the national team player pool, giving them three so far. Now, there is a huge difference between being in the pool and being a Cloee at the top of the pool, so maybe some of you who follow this more closely have an idea how good these girls are - Cate Parchinski, Alesha Blair and Katie Speidel. Santa Clara also seems to have a large class of 2010, but seemingly players just below national team level. Add all that to players returning from injury, and watch out for Santa Clara. They sure seem to be headed in the right direction.
