Fun watching Pilots play this summer
Drove by the campus and saw some soccer action on the turf field. Pulled over and watched a little bit. Apparently it was a summer league with Pilots, 2009 players who will be frosh, 2010 recruit was out there and several other girls from FC Portland soccer club. Not great team soccer with the varied mix of players and talents, but still, on a warm summer evening, fun to watch. I guess they play Wed and Fri nites.

It's always fun this time of year to start wandering over to the Bluff and get a sneak preview of the players for next season. It's 5 weeks to the Oregon game.
A Looong five weeks.
