Speaking of Pilot 5k's
I ran into UP woman's golfer Bridget Gleason down in Huntington Beach this 4th of July weekend. She just finished running in the city's annual 4th of July 5k. Finished at 21:28. Don't know what the average golfer is running their 5k's at but a little over 7 min miles seems pretty solid to me. Though not quite fast enough to catch Alfred or newcomer Dunbar anytime soon. Good to see Pilots being versatile and competing in something other then their own sport.

Pretty decent for a girl who I'm guessing doesn't run much.

Maybe, But I'll guess she isn't holding up any foursomes.

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. He usually had in his mouth a short dudeen; but in an evil moment he put the dudeen, lighted, in the pocket among the powder. Mr. Lowry was an eccentric man.
