Has anybody heard this story?
I read today online that one of Bill Russell's teammates of the old USF teams passed away. I believe his last name was Akers, but, then when I went home I had trouble finding the story. Nothing was listed at the WCC site either that I could find. If anyone has a link to the story or some information about his life, I would be intersted. Thanks.

Hey AJ... yeah, it was Hal Perry. I actually just saw the headline myself on ESPN:

He was a member of the two-time National Champ Dons teams of '55 and '56.
There also is a thread on Dons Central (the USF board) that has some good info:

Thanks. It's good to know our WCC history.
