With Libbey I like Stonehouse would see a conflict if the person were in his position and were able to referee WCC games. Let him referee other college games......

I agree that this may end up being a good thing... he wont ref our games, and may just have a good personality to be a coordinator... someone who will take initiative.
This may end up being a brilliant move.

Plus, he gets the pleasure of listening to his own voice more often!

Well, Libby will have plenty to adjudicate. THE NCAA announced some rules changes:
NCAA.com
They have decided, among other things, that they are going to call traveling and 3 seconds.
Go figure...

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. He usually had in his mouth a short dudeen; but in an evil moment he put the dudeen, lighted, in the pocket among the powder. Mr. Lowry was an eccentric man.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: Reveno's Twitter Page
Does anyone else read PG's link thinking that they might start calling illegal defense more often? (when they talk about two defenders establishing position under the basket) Or am I misinterpretting that?
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you are referring to the idea of a "restricted area" like the NBA has, I did notice that (it's not a charge if a defender is standing in the semicircle under the basket in the NBA). It does seem a little strange to me that you can stick yourself right under the basket to take a charge.

Of course they do this AFTER Tyler Hansborough's made a career out of taking such charges... I don't know what UNC and Duke are going to do without this oh so integral part of their game...

I guess they won't bring Shane Battier back for any guest lectures/coaching...

Re: Reveno's Twitter Page
CoachRevenoWhat I liked most about training camp from coaching perspective is that in 10 days of 2-a-days we did about 30 mins of old drills. Rest new.
Gotta love that!! You have to think a coach constantly evolving and working new drills into the system can only help the players get better...

That is sweet. I wonder how much of Rev's playbook from Stanford has not been installed into the offense yet... Maybe he'll add some new wrinkles to the offense to go along with the new drills.

Playing in 76 classic on ESPN over Thanksgiving with Butler, Clemson, Long Beach State, Minn. Texas A & M, UCLA , WVU. Big time hoops!
NICE!! Great that we get to see how the team stacks up against some big programs right off the bat!
Still working on the schedule. I guess it is a good sign that it has become a little tougher to find people to play us in the last 2 years.
I guess the Huskies aren't looking for a rematch...
