Ah... OK! Thanks for the info. Not sure why I thought he was Australian... maybe he went down there to play professionally for a while? I remember Rick Brainard (another former Pilot) went down to Australia to play after college and ended up coming back to play in the Chiles Center with his Australian team for an exhibition game before the season one year.

Rick Brainard was another of my favorite Pilots. What a list to compile. Art Easterly, Dan Hunt, Jim Dortch, Bill Garner, Jose Slaughter, Darwin Cook, Jim Altenhofen,etc, etc.

as far as south american recruits, from what i believe they get into pro ball earlier. so that would take them out of ncaa competition.
Yes, but, if I was a coach, I'd rather travel to South America.
