Bellotti in -- Ernie out? Empty Bellotti in -- Ernie out?

Post by Geezaldinho Fri Mar 13, 2009 4:28 pm

Mike Bellotti decided to move into the AD's office.

Next question - will Kilkenny fire Kent before Mike does that in July?

Things sure have changed. No program today would put up with the records Rich Brooks achieved for several years. But UO had patience, and they eventually named the field after him. Kent has had some excellent success, and strong recruiting, but a bad rebuilding year may cost him his alma mater job.

The new arena may be the driving factor in replacing Kent. It recalls to mind that a large factor in replacing Coach Avina was said to be the failure to attract bigger crowds to the the new arena (EACC). Hmmm.

p.s. congrats to Coach Bellotti on an outstanding career!

As a Duck hater, I do enjoy how you imply that his career is now completely over.

Very Happy

Either that or they just don't have enough money right now to buy out his contract. I mean, between the baseball field, the new basketball arena, negotiating chip kelly's contract and now having to pay the AD (Kilkenny's been doing the job for free, I think), they are probably tapped out of $. There's only so much cash uncle phil can provide.

Not in "this economy"

I don't even know what that means, but I seem to hear it about 20 times a day, so I figured I'd use it myself.

I get that answer, too. The last time it meant no canopy over the fur lined seats or drop-down Plasma replay screens. Crying or Very sad

DAT the students have been using the PA system for Rage parties for years. All the beverages on the circuit boards have made it semi reliable.
