Pepperdine Saturday Night

Post by up7587 on Fri Mar 06, 2009 11:36 pm

So we meet the Waves in the quarterfinals. The previous two games were wins: 73-58 there and 74-45 at Chiles. I remember thinking the last game was kind of boring, as it was never competitive. I would gladly take a repeat tomorrow. Smile That was really our last strong game. OK, Pilots, let's roll!

I'm just fine with non-competitive victories. I really want to see us step on the gas early and never let up, so that T.J. can take the last ten minutes off. Let's show that second gear we had earlier in the season!

Yeah,

But remember they shot like 3% for the game and about MINUS 30% in the first half.

Plus, I think you forgot the 6th man Mesa was in the house last game, yelling at the ref's on every bad call, lol. Sign-Danger

I like the Pepp matchup. If the Pilots play their best, there is no way they lose. If they don't play their best, there is still a good chance they win. Rob's Jacket said it on another thread, and I agree, this is the better matchup for us tonight.

I like how Mr. Beseda already knew on Friday night that St. Mary's would beat USD tonight! Laughing We'll see, I guess.

Keep it up Pilot's, You have your foot on their throat's ,don't let up , remember the two game's last year. GO PILOT'S.

Time for Big John to get his minute's were going to need his size against Samhan, pls Rev,pls Rev....

First team back in please, to sloppy with the 2nd's in. Ethan need's to calm down, he's lengthening the game, pls coach

Jasonn 4 t/o's 3 fouls=14 Pepperdine Pts., 3 missed shot's

I shutter thinking of last year when Ito get's to walk the ball up the court, or dribble it backward in the halfcourt. I am glad TJ is getting lot's of rest so he can play 37-39 minutes tomorow night against St Mary's.

First team need's to go back in to work on it's execution, whatever games over, let em play scratch scratch scratch

Our twin tower's need a little work, "the twinkle toe's tower's,lol"

Thk goodness that game is over, that was Ugly, but we won. Tomorrow ESPN though,Monday in Person hopefully???

I am glad u guy's are right and it was a cakewalk, believe me it won't be tomorrow.

Any game where we shoot 45.5% from the 3 point line we should win. Nice win, guys.

Your right Beating a Dead Horse and nobody played more than 24 minute's.

It was great to see Nem. to get rewarded for all his hard work he's put in this yr.

I wish Ethan wasn't having all of his ankle problem's we would sure be a formidable team if he were close to 100%. Nice to see B.J. hit a 3, the other team sure shade's off him when he's out there. It would be nice to see him get a few "got it's" against St Mary's to free up Nik,TJ and especially Jarred eh??
