Game Video Online

I'm very frustrated right now! I wanted to watch the SCU vs USD game and nothing is working. The video online isn't working (it's not even shown as an available game on the CBS player). Gametracker says that it will be available after tipoff. But I KNOW the game has started, ESPN is giving me score updates every once in a while.

I just hope that everything is in good working order by the time we tipoff tonight. I'm ready to watch some Portland basketball!

I feel you pain ShipstadPilot11 and would walk you through it. I'm on it now but I swear you have to be a 15 yr old hacker or have a computer science degree to figure out how to get to it. Why can't the media/commish set it up for the layman (his biggest ticket buyer).

Maybe someone will come on and help , or Rob's Jacket.etc.... will help. But no way since I'm hooked up am I am going to back out and lead you through WCC site. Keep trying...

I got gametracker. And I found the game on CBS's video player, but there was no "watch" option, only "listen." So I'm just watching GameTracker right now. I know the video worked fine last night when I watched part of the USF vs Pepp game. Like I said, I'll be happy as long as it works at 8:30 for the PILOT game!

In other words, I'm content for now.

Santa Clara lead's by 15 at half....38-23....Bryant's padding his rebound stat's with misses from 6 inch's .like usual. I can't wait until his boring brand of basket ball get's stomped back in his face by Shaq,Dwight Howard ,etc... in the NBA ... that's if he even doesn't get cut and have to play in Europe,lol.

The only thing your missing is the 18-22 yr old cheerleaders from USD (that's me). They are alway's the prettiest and not to bad of dancer's either,lol

I guess the stats don't say it all then. I was looking at halftime stats and marveling at Bryant's stats (11 pts, 17 rebs, 2 blks), but if a lot of those rebounds are from shots he should have made, then they aren't as impressive.

UP needs real cheerleaders. The ones we have don't seem to have any impact on the crowd (students or otherwise), and there are only about 3-5 cheerleaders on a given night...

They were allright last year at the WCC Tourney. But , I swear us old fart's and about 5 student's had to lead cheer's from the stand's. Your right though,I think the student's in the chess club could be more vocal and intriguing in their cheer's normally. I know Clay and PP13 were alot better with their cheer's this year. Thank goodness for your small but vocal student section, I KNOW FOR A FACT THE PLAYER'S REALLY APPRECIATED THE SUPPORT!!!

Wow, this is some of the worst quality ever. The resolution makes it seem like I am watching "Double Dribble"

We had trouble in the first half, the video feed was 2.5+ minutes behnd the audio. But in the second half I dropped off, re-entered, and it was in sync. OK picture, not great. ESPN from now on!

I am very excited for ESPN over the online video feed.

During free throws I got to look at a nifty WCC logo instead of the FT's.

ESPN2 here we come. Look out SMC!!!

Wow, I agree, the WCC really needs to work on the technology side of things. Hopefully, I will actually be attending next year so this is the only year I will be fussing with this internet feed.

The SD/SCU game did not play AT ALL for me either. It just had a game tracker, but the video did not work. For the Pilot/Wave game, it worked pretty well for me in the first half, and then started having problems towards the end of the first half. The second half was so bad, I started to give up for the most part and listened primarily to 970 AM. Two problems: either the video would freeze up, or, what happened more frequently was that the audio and video were way out of sync and it got progressively worse.

But we won, and tomorrow is on ESPN2 so no worries. But yeah, Jamie Z needs to get on this. The CBS interent feeds are hit and miss, as I've learned from another one of their team media centers that I frequent.
