insomniac report

Post by PurpleGeezer on Sat Sep 15, 2007 11:58 am

3 goals by current and former UP players kept Canada's hopes to move on to the second round.

Christine Sinclair scored twice (her 82nd and 83rd), showing why you don't leave her unmarked in front of the goal. Sophie Schmidt got her first World Cup goal on a nice header, and Martina Franco finished out the 4-0 win.

Though we all want Sophie back, I'm still rooting for Canada to move on.

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. He usually had in his mouth a short dudeen; but in an evil moment he put the dudeen, lighted, in the pocket among the powder. Mr. Lowry was an eccentric man.
