That was cool! Nice find, Stoney, and nice to see TJ get some mention.
But then for number 3 they do soccer and screw it all up.
First, when somebody says "footie" I think of the Australian game.
Then he has trouble with "golazo".
At least it got a mention.

Anytime your play beats out one by LBJ I'd say you did pretty well for yourself...

Nate Robinson and Steve Nash. The worst two time winners in their respective categories; Slam Dunk Champion and MVP. Gotta love the NBA!

So are you saying Steve Nash is the Colt Brennan of the NBA?? And it's too bad the dunk contest these days is more about the theatrics than the actual substance... (It's bad when the 2 best dunks come from losers in the competition...)
That said, TJs shot was incredible, but the behind the back pass save out to him by Smeulders?? haha maybe he should have been the one tossing the ball to Rudy instead of Pau Gasol...

Great play! I wish the ESPN announcers would slow down a little bit and let us enjoy our 15 seconds of fame. When they say "Portland--Saint (Mary's)" it sounded a little bit too much like Portland State...

As for the NBA, IMO it's becoming a broken model. The best NBA action has been watching Clay Bennett and Aubrey McClendon lose some of their fortune as the economy has crashed. (Okay that was a little malicious, but, you can see where I'm coming from.

That was the NBA All-Star game? Looked more like a Globetrotters game to me. I quit watching that event several years ago.

Except for the Blazers and small doses of the Finals, I quit watching the NBA at all several years ago. Beyond (a) I like the Blazers, and (b) I can't stand the Lakers, I couldn't tell you much about the NBA anymore.

the mispronunciations are considered humorous by the staff, just like the rap/hip hop lyrics they use in common dialogue.....it is what it is
