USA makes a bid for 1018 and 2022 World Cup

Post by PurpleGeezer on Mon Feb 02, 2009 11:03 pm

Gulatti anounced it today on the ussoccer.com website.

and in This podcast.

I guess I'm excited. I'm also hoping that I'll be able to remember what a World Cup is at that age....

As a history major, I'm kind of curious as to who the participants in the 1018 World Cup might have been. Cool

My question is, who decided to put the champions league ball next to to the world cup trophy?? Perhaps FIFA's UEFA bias runs a bit too deep...
