Good solid game Pilot's were supposed to win and they did. IMO those 8 FT for the game were because we were on their home court and the ref's were letting them play a tough physical game.A few of the calls could have been changed, however it was nice to see a game where the ref's let them play and didn't call the "ticky tacky" fouls during the game, (No blood,no foul is my motto). I guess in BJ Porter's case in that one game,3 stitch's no dunk.

I was having Santa Clara "flashbacks" too. It was really great to see Eric get plenty of playing time as TJ's backup. His confidence is getting better and the Pilots will need him down the road for "QUALITY" minutes so TJ can get a breather occasionally. Jasonn played better tonight, but his hand's on the offense still show sign's of needed improvement.

All in all a good solid win with a longer bench and thats good IMHO.

Go Pilots,Break wind,Break the Wave's.LOL.

I was really impressed with the Pilots. Everyone played their role perfectly, talent at every position and extremely well coached. I really like Campbell and Ravio back court!
Good luck the rest of the way. I really think you guys can finish in the top three in the WCC. Perhaps some NIT action this year!

I really think that the NIT is a realistic goal as long as we can stay steady through WCC play. I like our chances of splitting against at least one of the better teams at home.

There's also the College Basketball Invitational, which started last year. No, I didn't follow it either, but being a Pilot fan I would take whatever comes.

I totally forgot about the CBI... But i agree, at this point ANY post season action would be miraculous (I'll just be happy with .500+ basketball personally...)

I like tourney action. However it would be a "Sunny day in Portland" before the Pilot's would ever host with it's low attendence at a fabulous facility like the Chiles. Especially the low student support scratch However, it would be nice to get invited anywhere.
