Yeah, it would. Reveno seems to know just how to use him as a situational shooter too...kind of like how the old Arizona teams used Steve Kerr. That guy was ridiculous.

Nice article for sure... I'm an unabashed fan of Jared's game (what can I say... it's more fun to watch offense than defense!) and it's nice to see him get some attention. And hearing him talk about other teams yelling "shooter!" made me laugh... reminded me of the Portland State game, where every single person on their bench (coaches included) jumped up and yelled that every time he touched the ball.

It's amazing to see him mentioned in the same breath as Jeff Fryer. Now that guy... that guy could shoot! I wonder if he will break Peter McKelvey's single-season record. Not sure what it is off the top of my head, but I think 120+. Ah Peter... too bad he was only here one year. Heck of a player.

Anyway, for Stohl to even get a sniff of Fryer he'd need to average over 100 threes this season and the next two. And actually, that doesn't really seem too unreasonable as long as he keeps getting minutes and still has a green light.

Great article for a well-deserving young gun. Yes, I'm afraid the Pilot's "secret" weapon is out of the bag. I personally believe he's currently one of the best catch and shoot player's in the Nation. He's not Stephan Curry but I would put him up against any player in the nation in a game of horse he's such a good shot. In fact when I'm watching the game's I jump up and yell "shoot it" when ever he touch's the ball in our frontcourt. I'm a defensive man, which is why I can't stand the "EL MADADOR" CRAP that the NBA play's. But even I can appreciate a high-arching Stohl shot that swishes through and the Zebra raise's his hands for 3 pts. cheers

Isn't wonderful to have some offense this year. Last year it seemed like Nik or Sherrard had to carry the Pilot's on their back some games. With a years maturity,a Juco transfer, what a difference a year makes for me. At least at the end of the game I don't have to hold my breath till I'm blue in panic. OH, just the thought of last years offense give's me the willy's affraid

Agreed... I feel like we haven't really acknowledged enough how much the offense has improved. Part of it is TJ and what he brings to creating plays and attracting defenders, but I think the big strides made by Ethan and Robin have made the biggest impact. Last year, I would cringe when Ethan shot and Robin drove me crazy with his off-balance flips and whatever he would do in the paint. This year, I have tons of confidence in Ethan taking shots from all over the court, and Robin has been so solid with his footwork and fundamentals... he's really a very talented post scorer. And Kramer shooting 70%+ and leading the conference doesn't hurt either! Smile

So, so, true. Robin was the "Dr. Evil" to SU's Austen Powers Sunday lol! Rolling Eyes. And I can recall guys like Nik and Ethan hitting some tough shots in the second half when they needed a basket.
