Post by Islander on Mon Dec 29, 2008 5:11 pm

Rumor has it that our men's team plays the Seattle Sounders in February at home. Time will tell.

Let me know if they set a date for that one; I'd enjoy going...

And from what I hear the Timbers will be playing the SJ Earthquakes the same day... The Sounders also have another friendly on July 18th: http://www.epltalk.com/chelsea-organizes-friendly-against-seattle-sounders/4157

Wow. Some EPL fans in Portland will have a tough time picking a team for that one.

I (gulp) gotta go with Seattle in this one. USA! USA!

I just checked the San Jose official site. According to their preseason schedule they are in Fresno February 20.

Haha and those of us that are most definitely not Timbers fans and LOATHE the Blues have no problem what so ever.... Although I'm assuming your allegiances lie with a different London club if you are willing to support the Sounders on this one...

It's the one in North London that upgrades by signing schoolboys every summer. That will work well when they end up in the UEFA Cup/Europa League/NIT next year. Hitting my head agai

But I digress. These days there's plenty of loathing for Chelsea to go around the whole league.

Yeah... I wish nothing but the worst for Chelsea each and every year...

But hey, at least they aren't the ones plotting to sign away your best player and manager...

The UP vs. Sounders FC game should be entertaining. Remember when Kasey Keller had long hair?

He kind of underwent the Andre Agassi transition.
