Linus Rhode done at OSU ?

A BS poster noticed his job being advertised in the Chronicle of Higher EDucation.

Another BS poster suggested the OSU ad might simply relate to visa/green card issues. If Linus is a Canadian, which is what I recall, and if he does not yet have permanent resident status, then he may be going for it. One of the avenues is to have a job waiting for which there is a short supply of qualified workers in the US. Thus OSU advertises and gets no qualified applicants (as determined by OSU) other than Linus. Sort of going through the required drill and filing the proper paperwork so he can get his green card. (If my recollection is right, assuming he gets approved, at some point he will have to go over the border and come back into the US.)
