USD's Brandon Johnson Out for the Season

Hadn't seen this posted on here yet... Brandon Johnson is out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon. Very tough break for San Diego and for Johnson, who I think probably should have been the WCC player of the year last year.

I'd say the battle for third place in the WCC is now wide open between USD, Portland, Santa Clara, and San Francisco.

Horrible news for Brandon.

Brandon was so amazing last year I was actually hoping to see him 3 or 4 times this year. It looks like it's early enough in the season that he can get a redshirt. Small consolation, I know...

USD will be in town this weekend to play UO. Anybody going to drop by and scout two future opponents?

After the fun I had last year, I wouldn't miss it.

That's really too bad. I was looking forward to the B.J. vs. Campbell matchup.
