Re: UP v Stanford: Gameday Thread
A little article about the game from the Stanford site:
http://gostanford.cstv.com/sports/w-soccer/spec-rel/112508aaa.html
I remember those days when Stanford was actually better than us 15 years ago in the early Tiffany Milbrett years around 1993. It was so long ago though that it's just hard for me to think of them being more deserving of the #1 seed than we were this year... Oh well, time to take it to them.

Saw them last time March Madness came to Seattle. "Cute" is one word....
BTW, I went to see the women @ PSU Wed. night:
--PSU has a "drumline"--three guys w/ quads, snare, bass
--They only seem to play when they feel like it, maybe 3-4 times
--They play DURING FREE THROWS. Buzz was there and he was confused as to the legality of this as well.

Pretty sure this is a no-no. We've gotten told by referees to stop playing during play - free-throws or the game itself.PurplePrideTrumpet wrote:--They play DURING FREE THROWS. Buzz was there and he was confused as to the legality of this as well.
