2008 College Cup in Cary - SOLD OUT!

I have family in Durham, NC, so I am going back to visit next weekend, with the idea of going to the College Cup, regardless of whether UP makes it or not. Hopefully they'll beat Stanford, which would make the trip that much better.

However, according to the NC State website, the event is sold out.

Mmmm... my guess (just a guess) is that some tickets should be available through the schools that qualify.

I would recommend contacting the UP Box Office after (hopefully!) UP wins tonight.

Yeah... I just can't imagine that they wouldn't set aside a certain amount of tickets for the schools that make it to the College Cup.

Not sure how big the allotment would be, but I'm fairly certain there will be at least a decent amount of tickets available.

It's been my experience that there are always extra tickets floating around, even for sold out events. Craigslist is worth a try at either Durham or Chapel Hill. EBay is another option if you have time for delivery by express mail. If those ideas don't work, then I'd just go to Cary a little early and stand near the entry with a hangdog look on my face saying "Anyone got an extra ticket?" You'll most likely get seats.
