Sigh... I guess my play-by-play performances just aren't very memorable.

Well I'm always at the match, so I don't know what you sound like.

You'd be more memorable if you had a catchphrase. Something like, "And boom goes the dynamite!" when the Pilots score.

(Don't tell me you haven't seen that with all the time you spend on YouTube...)

Ha ha... no, I never did have a catch phrase. Except for my use of "razzle dazzle" as much as possible. And, of course, "Helllllloooooo Pilot fans."

Adam had the best... after Rapinoe scored one time, he said "And take a bow Megan Rapinoe!"

Oh, and of course I know "boom goes the dynamite"... probably the most epic fail ever. I especially loves when he starts trying to do the play-by-play on the highlight reel... just amazing.

Just so we are clear---

You can't hold a candle for Angela Harrison....

you could borrow John Madden's "Boom"
"You know that Megan Rapinoe she plays like a big ole offensive lineman. You know down in the trenches."

And then there would be the endless Brett Farve references.

Reminds of an SNL sketch where they spoofed Monday Night Football:

"What you have with Brett Favre is, he's a quarterback who can throw the ball to his receivers. When these receivers can catch the ball, they can gain yards and score touchdowns. That gives you a good chance to win the game."

Let's see if we can bend this back to soccer. Imagine John Madden doing the color on a Pilots game? "What you have with Megan Rapino is, she's a midfielder who can pass and kick the soccer ball, when she kicks the ball at the goal and it goes in you get goals. That gives you a good chance to win the game.:

If it were anything like football, I suspect the commentary will be something to the effect of:

At the end of the day, this game will come down to not letting the other team score goals. And that goes for both teams.

The team that scores no goals is going to have a VERY hard time winning this soccer game.

Regardless of who you are pulling for, clearly these are two teams who have come to play soccer.
