UC-Davis Men's Basketball Game on CSTV-Internet !

Hey folks,

The Game is on CSTV and can be acessed by going to the UC-Davis Basketball/Athletic Site. . This is great news for us Geographically challenged Pilot BB fans. I personally found the several camera angles that CSTV offers as opposed to Stretchnet to be much better. The best part is the game is FREE like the PSU game was. I luv the Big-West and Big Sky conferences because they offer all their BB games for FREE. . I wonder why the new commish of the WCC can't wrangle a deal like this? Maybe it has something to do with ESPN or Stretchnet I don't know, I am just overjoyed CSTV is giving us non-NW fans a chance to watch the Pilots .

P.S.-Now my only problem is I have to tape the Arizona Cardinal vrs Giant game to watch the much improved Pilots. No one better tell me the Cardinal score if I check in at half-time to chat on Pilot Nation .

Just out of curiousity, is Nik Raivio leading the team in field goal % right now? For stat geeks out there, his efficiency rating was just off the charts during the Yale game... It was like an EFF of 22 or something. In short, he was unstoppable...and he was good against UW as well. Peace.

Pilots win 75 - 72. Seemed to have the game in hand, but had to hold off Davis at the end to win. Good road win.

I got Gametracker launched. I'm laughing at how cute the animated players are right now.

Cartoon Robin is bouncing the ball. He shoots the free throw...and in it goes!

Any win is a good win, I guess. UP was up 17 points with 7 minutes left when Davis started pressing and shooting threes. The result after a Davis 3 pointer at the buzzer was 75:72

the scoring for the Pilots was spread out well again. This time it was TJ with 20, Jared with 17, Nik with 15, and Robin with 12


A bad part was that UP shot 39% in the first half, but redemed themselves with 61% in the second. Also, we had 17 turnovers, but we got 11 steals and out rebounded Davis.

Nice game. Campbell played well. It's encouraging that we've had several different leading scorers this season with Campbell, Raivio, and Smeulders... I'm glad those turnovers and missed free throws didn't come back to haunt us. The team rebounds well from its mistakes...

Hmm....... TJ and Robin both had more than 30 minutes, so I guess the bench shortened up for this game. I sort of like it when the minutes are spread out. The team is better rested at the end.
